The two nations from the hearts of Europe and Asia, Poland and Afghanistan, and the people of the two countries share common destiny along the history by fighting for democracy to bring peace and prosperity to their nations.
The first formal contact of the two nations was established in 1928 when His Majesty King Amanullha Khan, the reformer of Afghanistan, and the President of Poland Mr. Ignacy Mościcki signed the first cooperation agreement in Ankara. The relation between the two countries strengthened when the two countries opened their embassies in Kabul and in Warsaw in 1962.
Along this 80-year history of friendly and amicable contact, hundreds of Afghan student studied Engineering, Medicine, Agriculture, Musical Arts and Law at universities in Poland, Polish engineers got significant role in roads building and reconstruction in 80s and 90s in Afghanistan. The people of the two countries still remember Afghan rugs and raisens as well as Polish famous sweets and electronics.
The official visit of Afghan President, His Excellency Hamid Karzai in 2003 to Poland and the official visit of His Excellency Mr. Kwaśniewski to Afghanistan in 2002 is an important point in our modern history.
Fruitful and unforgettable contributing of Polish Sons in fighting international terror and their involvement in the reconstruction of Afghanistan since 2002 will be called up in our shared history.
Appointed as the new Ambassador in Warsaw, my job here is to strengthen the relations between the two countries, I and the Embassy staff will not hesitate to provide you with useful support and information whenever needed.

1965-1967 - Faculty of Engineering, American University of Beirut.
1964-1965 - Schwifat National College in Beirut.
July 2007 - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Afghanistan to Poland.
2002-2006 - Director of Intemal Affairs Department, National Security Council of Afghanistan.
July 2001 - Called upon by H.M. Zahir Shah for creating and commanding the anti-Taliban alliance and for reestablishing democratic institutions in Afghanistan.
June 1990-August 1993 - Regional Affairs Officer, USAID Representative's Office for Afghanistan in Quetta, Pakistan
1989-1990 - Consultant at UNOCCA, under Prince Saddradin Aga Khan.
November 1989 - Repatriated to USA as a political refugee. Returned to Quetta in Pakistan in February 1990.
1987-1989 - Special consultant advisor on rural development, VITA.
1983-1994 - Accredited Representative of the Voice of America for the Afghan Resistance.
1982 - Chief Liaison Officer, International Committee for Red Cross in Quetta and Baloochistan, Pakistan.
1980-1983 - Founder of the movement for The Restoration of Constitutional Monarchy in Afghanistan.
August 1979 - Following the Communist coup d'etat escaped from Afghanistan to Iran and after three months relocated to Pakistan.
1972-1979 - Professor at the Faculty of Agriculture, Kabul University.
