The establishment of the Afghani Path in the Department of Iranian Studies at the University of Warsaw

After many years of hard work and struggle by the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and the Faculty of Oriental Studies at the University of Warsaw, starting from the beginning of the 2010/2011 academic year a new and unique path of  the Afghani Studies will be available at the University of Warsaw at the Department of Iranian Studies. It will be the first year where students may apply for this field.

 
The Warsaw University's promotion in establishing and promoting student interest in Afghani Path is a great and positive step forward in introducing and educating on the real face of Afghanistan to people (students and the public) in Poland.
It is also noteworthy to mention that both national languages of Afghanistan (Dari & Pashto) are now added to the official curriculum.
