Statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the Berlin meeting

Regarding the recent reports on the meeting sponsored by the Aspen Institute in Berlin and attended by a number of Afghans, the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan is against any actions, statements and gatherings which run contrary to the spirit of national unity and the principles enshrined in the Constitution of Afghanistan.
In this context, the Afghan of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan considers the role of foreign individuals and institutions as direct interference in the internal affairs of Afghanistan, condemns it, and makes clear that such actions must not be repeated in the future.
