Ambassador of Afghanistan met with Ambassador of the Republic of India in Warsaw

Warsaw-Poland, Wednesday 9th May 2018

H.E. Mr. Gul Hussain Ahmadi, Ambassador Extraordinary Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Warsaw, had a courtesy meeting with H.E. Mr. Tsewang Namgyal, Ambassador of the Republic of India to the Republic of Poland, on Wednesday 9th 2018, at the Embassy of Afghanistan in Warsaw.

During this meeting Ambassador Ahmadi welcomed the Ambassador of India and congratulated him on his new appointment. Both Ambassadors mentioned the friendly and historical relations between the two countries and had a fruitful discussion and exchange of views on bilateral relations between Afghanistan and Poland, as well as India and Poland.

had a courtesy meeting with H.E. Mrs. Chitra Devi Ramiah, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Republic of Poland.
Ambassador Ahmadi welcomed the Ambassador of Malaysia at the premises of the  Embassy of Afghanistan
and invited Her Excellency to have an enjoyable discussion and exchange of views on the bilateral relations
between Afghanistan and Poland, as well as Polish-Malaysian matters.

H.E. Mr. Jacek Czaputowicz, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland meets Diplomatic Corps in Warsaw

The Ambassador of Afghanistan met with students from the Action Diplomacy Program in Warsaw

H.E. Mr. Gul Hussain Ahmadi, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to the Republic of Poland, met with students from the Action Diplomacy program from the Foreign Affairs Club of the Warsaw School of Economics, at the Embassy premises.
At the beginning of the meeting, Ms. Agnieszka Wójcik, on behalf of the students, spoke about the objective of the 7th edition of the Action Diplomacy Program, which is to learn more about Afghanistan, as well as to broaden their knowledge of bilateral relations between Poland and Afghanistan. She also added that the students were selected not only from the Warsaw School of Economics, but also from the other universities in Warsaw and colleges from other cities in Poland.
Ambassador Ahmadi welcomed the students and conveyed his appreciation to the Action Diplomacy Program of the Foreign Affairs Club of the Warsaw School of Economics for organizing this visit. He then gave a speech about Polish-Afghan relations and mentioned some of Afghanistan's achievements in the areas of education, both higher and primary, women’s participation in politics, security challenges and economic projects that took place throughout the last 17 years in Afghanistan.
During the second part of the meeting, the students shared their ideas and knowledge about the current situation of Afghanistan and asked many questions concerning the present state of affairs, women’s rights movements, peace process, safety issues and business-related matters in Afghanistan. The Ambassador answered all the inquiries and well explained about all the mentioned concerns accordingly.

Ambassador of Afghanistan met with H.E. Mr. Albinas Zananavicius, Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania

Mr. Gul Hussain Ahmadi, Non-residence Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to the Republic of Lithuania, met with H. E. Mr. Albinas Zananavicius, Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Neilas Tankevicius, Director of State and Diplomatic Protocol and Mr. Eduardas Borisovas, Director for Latin America, Africa, Asia and Asia Pacific Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania.
In these meetings, Ambassador had a very productive discussions regarding the strengthening and enhancing of the bilateral relations between Afghanistan and Lithuania.
