Ambassador of Afghanistan in Warsaw met with the Director of Asia Pacific Department of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Poland

H.E. Mr. Gul Hussain Ahmadi, Ambassador of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Warsaw, had a fruitful meeting with Mr. Paweł Milewski, Director of Asia Pacific Department of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland.

During this meeting, Director Mr. Milewski has said that, over the past years, there were many employees of the government of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, participated in the training programs, organized by the Government of Poland. This year (2019) also the Polish Foreign Ministry is in contact with the relevant authorities of the Republic of Poland, trying to launch another training program of capacity building for the employees of Afghanistan government in New Delhi, India, as soon as possible.

Ambassador Mr. Ahmadi conveyed his appreciation to the Government of Poland for the support and assistance during the past years, and expressed his gratitude for preparing the new training programs for the Afghan government employees, this year. He also spoke about the details and procedure of choosing eligible candidates, as well as about the training programs that are in priority for the government of Afghanistan in the year 2019.

This meeting was attended by: Mr. Mohammad Salim Zarbast, first secretary of this embassy, Ms. Barbara Szymanowska, former head of the Department of Development Cooperation, Ms. Joanna Stachyra, the deputy of the Department of Development Cooperation, and Mr. Piotr Buszta, Head of South Asian countries in the Asia Pacific Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Poland.
